My partner has Celiac and we are always on the search for delicious gluten free pizza we can both enjoy. We were happy to find this little gem! The dough is made in house and is definitely in our top five favorite gf pizza spots. I haven't had the regular pizza but it looks just as tasty.

So hands down I'd say this is in my top 5 of Italian eats! The food here is handcrafted and incredible. The patio is a lovely spot on a warm night. Try sauces and pastas you'll crave for weeks. This place is worth the drive and wonderful for families, business, or groups.

My absolute favorite. There is nothing like Ambrogio15 in San Diego. From the dough to the sauce and the toppings, you can tell that these guys don't mess around and the quality of the ingredients are nothing but the best. The staff is amazing. My go to place.

This place is very close to 5 star for me. First place in San Diego that we have tried that lived up to the hype. Very good service, drinks and food. Completely reasonable prices. Even though we had pizza there was no heavy feeling afterwards. Felt like good quality ingredients. Would definitely come back again.

This is a really swell place. Initially, when I wanted to go they ran out of marinara which bummed me out...BUT it was worth the wait! Julie works the kitchen and you can tell she put her heart into her food. Everything is done with so much care and attention that is not seen often. We were thrilled with our two pasta dishes, a roasted veggie salad, and fries. It is a small place with one table for a friendly vibe. I'm TOTALLY not used to that because in LA who socializes anymore?!?!? I'm kidding but it's true! However, we sat there with several people from different backgrounds and with one beautiful goal and that's to keep animals safe. There was a great mother and son duo there and I couldn't pass up taking a photo of his tattoo.

I don't go to Beretta nearly as often as I should, and I need to remedy this. It can get crowded for brunch, but it's always worth the wait. I sat outside on my most recent trip, and it was really fun to people watch (there are heat lamps to fight the chill).

Not bad considering their isn’t many Italian restaurants in PB area. But it’s too expensive for what’s a worth. Maybe it’s because I’ve had way better Italian pizza in NY for cheaper

This pizza made me feel like I was back living in Bellagio on Lake Como. The pizza is excellent and very authentic. Staff at the restaurant was cheerful, knowledgeable and working hard to adhere to all the COVID19 restrictions. We had the pizza to go, but the ambiance of the dining in was great. I am excited to go back again for another amazing experience. Most of the staff was Italian speaking which I loved to see.

You literally won't find high quality and real Italian food as you'll in Ambrosio. They literally know how to have it done and each of their workers are excellent with customer relations and higher excellent support. Don't say enough nice things about these folks.

This is a very special place for us. I spent 5 months in Italy and am in a forever search of authentic Italian pizza and experience. Not only is the staff amazing but the food is so delicious! All of the pizza's have their only special twist and the ingredients are so thoughtful and to die for every time. It is definitely worth dining in for the experience and atmosphere, they even have an outdoor patio! We LOVE this place and bring all of our visitors here!

Great Milan style pizza. A small salad feeds two. The wine list is extensive but I wish they had a couple of sweet white wines. Service was excellent and the environment is quiet enough to talk.

One of the best meals I’ve had in awhile! The pizza was INCREDIBLE. Even though they were busy, we had amazing service. Also an excellent wine list. Would highly recommend!

A friend brought home 5 take-out pizzas from this place. Can't say that it's the best in San Diego, haven't tried them all. But it is very likely the best in PB. Will definitely be going back. 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Classy establishment. A bit pricey, but you definitely don’t feel ripped off. Some people say this is the best pizza in San Diego, I wouldn’t go that far, but it definitely feels authentic to Italy. Crust is kind of thin, little amount of cheese, but the sauce is fairly sweet which is nice. Good wine selection and desserts too. Only downside was that it was a little loud and the food took a little while to come out. Still a very classy date night overall though.

Pizza was alright, we went there based off it being said it was the best pizza in town. There was a lot of sauce and very little cheese. The crust and pizza were semi warm. Definitely prefer Pizza Hut over this. Not worth the higher price.

I have discovered my favorite pizza here in San Diego! Finally, an authentic and ever so fresh array of flavor! Besides the hand-selected wine, the salamino piccante pizza was exquisite with the generous sauce I could actually taste, and the fresh rosemary sprigs, and spicy salami instead of pepperoni which was a perfect blend! Bravo Jacques on your perfect suggestion for my experience!

The food was OUTSTANDING and I am in Italy all the time. Best pizza I’ve ever had in the USA and rivals the best I’ve had in Italy. All of their other foods are exceptional and true Italian ingredients. The burrata is simply amazing. You must try it! The cheese and meats unbelievable! So is the bread! All prepared in house. The wine list is SPECTACULAR! small vineyard wines of exceptional quality you cannot get or buy anywhere! They found an amazing importer who only brings in these small boutique wines that are so delicious and a great value! Most Italian wine imported to the US are not good but these will make you a convert to loving Italian wine and change your perception of Italian wine forever! you must try this place. I’d rate it a 10 if I could

Great service and wine selection. Their Chardonnay was smooth and mild, (which I love). The pizza is delicious, I had the marhinara, and added the vegan mozzarella. Their orange fennel salad was delicious as well! I think they prefer if you reserve a table, but my group of 4 went in on an evening during a weekday with no reservation and had no qualms. The waiter/staff know their food well, and it is pretty authentic Italian!

Delicious food, great wine and wonderful service. We have been to Ambrogio 15 twice and will continue to come back. Highly recommend the Nuvola Crudo e Burrata & the Patate e Speck pizza. I could literally eat this pizza every single day. The owner Giacomo is friendly and has great suggestions. If you're unsure of what to order just ask him! Go here, you won't be disappointed.

I love this place. Great pizza and the best crust outside of Italy. The service is also very good and a super selection of Italian wines.Quite easily one of the best pizzerias I've been to! The pizza crust was the perfect balance of crispy edges and soft middle with the slight droop of the tip. We ordered a pizza with the burrata with the waiter's recommendation, and wow I've never tasted a cheese so creamy and delicious.

This place was nice but I think the pizza was just a bit soggy. The crust was thin but instead of being crunchy and nice it was soggy and the pizza had to be eaten with a fork. Good place to try once.

Fantastic experience every time we’ve been here. Wife and I have been all over Italy. And this is the closest you’ll get to Italian pizza in San Diego. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. Great wine selection. Amazing food. Tiramisu for dessert!

An authentic take on Italian pizza. Thin crust with flavorful, creamy Burrata, and proper prosciutto. Add beer and wine options, plenty of appetizers, and reasonable prices. Definitely recommended if you like Italian flavors.

I'm Italian living in California and sometimes I really miss an authentic oven baked thin crust pizza. Well, this place was a total surprise. It was literally like stepping in a pizzeria in Milan, from the deco to the experience and the perfect pizza. Absolutely top!
